COVALENT / Community principles
Code of Conduct.
Build your network. Shape your future.
COVALENT is about meeting new people, sharing ideas and building genuine professional connections. We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable and respected.
We simply ask that you:
- Be respectful. Treat everyone with courtesy, regardless of their background, industry, experience or seniority.
- Be inclusive. Make room for others in conversations and help newcomers feel welcome.
- Keep it genuine. Talking business is encouraged, but aggressive selling, persistent pitches and unwanted solicitation aren't.
- Respect boundaries. Be mindful of personal space, privacy and whether someone wants to continue a conversation.
- Respect photography preferences. Please don't photograph or share images of others without their agreement.
- Speak up. If something makes you uncomfortable or you witness inappropriate behaviour, please let an organiser know.
Harassment, discrimination and intimidating behaviour won't be tolerated. Organisers may ask anyone behaving inappropriately to leave.
By registering, you agree to follow these principles.
Above all, enjoy yourself, meet someone new and help make COVALENT a community people want to return to.
Event attendance and concerns
